Alice Cooper or the Wonderful Nightmare of a Star!

"If show business knew how to benefit from the lesson of Alice Cooper, it would evolve with a more colorful context, inspired by the concept of the 'Broadway Show!!!!'"

This is what an American journalist once said after seeing Alice perform.

"You must be sick! There are still people who think I'm still killing live chickens on stage!" Alice declared in another interview.

Alice Cooper is a character who never took a detour to show everyone what he had in mind. He is one of the artists of the 70s who best reflects the image of what "entertainment" should be. In life, he gave up the stage to take up a pace more accessible to all, frolicking happily on California golf courses, when he wasn't taking part in a televised quiz.

He's a man like everyone else, a man of the world, who knows how to play the starring role, designing a show printed with precise images of sadism, violence and horror. He takes his audience to the very sites of Broadway with the help of the most insane gadgets. In his ‘75 version, he imprisons everyone in an emphatic nightmare, where a world of ghosts, giant spiders, abandoned cemeteries, fabulous monsters and more reigns supreme.

Musically, Alice has always appealed to the masses through heavy commercial rock. We've never known him to have an intoxicating voice, his being rather false and nasal. And yet, the star has shaped himself and grown in wisdom... and madness!

Alice Cooper has once again cultivated this visual side of the show, renewing his friendship with Broadway at a time when the trend was towards intellectual analysis of music! Yes, Alice is a big star, still reigning supreme in today's showbiz... and not afraid of cold showers!!!!
