Lots of things coming out of the UK at the moment:
Classic Rock Magazine will be releasing Alice's new album, and possible masterpiece, Welcome 2 My Nightmare, in September. This will be a full month ahead of it's official release schedule. The album will be released as a "Fan Pack", much like Slash's solo album recently. The release will feature a CD, magazine and all kind of goodies - just in time for Halloween! You can pre-order this from myfavouritecamagazine.co.uk
A halloween tour of the UK has been announced, similar to last years gigs in London, this series of shows are being tagged as the "Halloween Night Of Fear". The New York Dolls will support the Alice band for the last four dates. Alice will be holding auditions for more freaky acts and fire performers at Hyde Park on 27th June, like last year. The selected Freaks will appear at the Alexandra Palace show on October 29th. The UK Halloween dates are as follows:
25: City Hall, Sheffield, England
26: Colston Hall, Bristol, England
27: National Indoor Arena, Birmingham, England (with New York Dolls)
29: Alexandra Palace, London, England (with New York Dolls)
30: 02 Apollo, Manchester, England (with New York Dolls)
31: Clyde Auditorium, Glasgow, Scotland (with New York Dolls)
Alice will also be playing a very intimate show in London this weekend, at the 100 Club. This is the most intimate show Alice has played in some time. For the complete listing of upcoming tour dates see the No More Mr Nice Guy Tour Page. Concert Live have team up with Alice to record and sell CD's from the European leg of the tour.
You can view Alice's press conference interview before his performance at the Download Festival in England on You Tube.
Alice presented Rob Zombie with the Golden God award at the 9th Annual Metal Hammer Awards in London on 13th June. Alice was awarded the Kerrang! Icon award at the 30th Annual Kerrang! Awards in London on JUne 9th. It's been an award filled year this year for Alice, with some long overdue recognition.
