Shock-rocker Alice Cooper opened his own restauraunt last weekend in Phoenix. Megadeth leader Dave Mustaine is a partner in the sport 'n' rock eatery named Alice Cooper'stown Restauraunt.

Cooper used the occasion to set straight the old story about him killing a chicken onstage."It never happened," Cooper said. "I never killed that chicken. At the Toronto Rock & Roll Revival, someone threw a chicken onstage and I threw it back into the audience. And the audience tore it to pieces, not me... Who knew that would lead to a career as a restauraunteur?"

His barbecued chicken goes for $9.95 a plate.
